Dhamar Governorate (Muḩāfaz̧at Dhamār)
Dhamar (ذَمَار), also spelt Thamar, is a governorate of Yemen located in the central highlands.

Dhamar is named after Dhamar Ali Yahbur II, who ruled the area that now comprises Dhamar Governorate as King of Saba', Dhu Raydan, Hadhramaut and Yamnit. His name means "Owner of the order".

Yemen (ٱلْيَمَن), officially the Republic of Yemen, is a country in Western Asia.
