La Conchée (Conchée, la)
La Conchée is a rocky island 0.25 nmi long lying between Pascal Island and Monge Island, 0.7 nmi northeast of Cape Mousse, Adélie Coast, Antarctica. It was charted in 1950 by the French Antarctic Expedition and named after the Fort de la Conchée, one of the forts guarding the approaches to Saint-Malo, France.

Antarctica is Earth's southernmost and least-populated continent. Situated almost entirely south of the Antarctic Circle and surrounded by the Southern Ocean (also known as the Antarctic Ocean), it contains the geographic South Pole. Native species of animals include mites, nematodes, penguins, seals and tardigrades. Where vegetation occurs, it is mostly in the form of lichen or moss.
